碰到爛房東是一件很可怕的事情 ☔，BBC London 列出了 6 點注意事項:
✖ If the rent seems too cheap to be true, it probably is. ✖ Look out for odd wording or bad spelling in ads. It’s a sign it could be a scam. ✖ Beware any landlord who won’t speak to you on the phone. ⭕ Insist you view the flat before you pay ANYTHING. ⭕ Don’t pay unless you have the landlord’s name and UK address. They must provide this by law. ⭕ The landlord must use an authorised tenant’s deposit scheme. That’s the law.
